Compact Voice writes to Justice Secretary about Payment by Results

Compact Voice has written to Justice Secretary Chris Grayling MP, about the Ministry of Justice's intention to introduce a system of Payment by Results for services delivered on behalf of the Ministry of Justice.

Compact Voice have asked the Minister to provide clarity around how the Ministry of Justice will be ensuring it upholds certain principles of the Compact relating to supply chains during the development of these reforms.

Compact Voice response to consultation on DH guidance, letter to Jeremy Hunt

Compact Voice has submitted a response to the Department of Health’s draft guidance on developing Health and Wellbeing Board strategies and Joint Strategic Needs Assessments.
 
In it, we state that we are disappointed that the reference to local Compacts has been weakened from an earlier draft of the document published in January, and recommend that further clarification is made about the role of local Compact groups and agreements.

Compact Voice response to LGA Draft Procurement Pledge

The Local Government Association (LGA) is consulting on a 'procurement pledge' for councils, and Compact Voice have responded to the consultation. While we welcome the LGA's commitment to improving the way local authorities procure services, we have raised concerns about the lack of reference to the Compact or to the contribution of voluntary and community sector in the design and delivery of services.
