Practical guide to engaging with Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs)
Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) are business led, local partnerships which have a remit to encourage the promotion of business, greater and more sustainable employment and economic growth in their area. LEPs were established in April 2011 and as their role has developed they have become increasingly important partners for the VCS in relation to European funding.
This briefing is part of a Compact Voice series for the VCS on engaging with the new local bodies: have a look at the rest of our series which covers Health and Wellbeing Boards (HWBs), Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs).
