Annual Survey of local Compacts 2014 now open

Compact Voice's fourth annual survey of local Compacts is now open.

Local Compacts provide a much needed framework for partnership working between the sectors. They outline reasonable expectations and help foster trust, highlight shared goals and deal with difficult decisions.

They can also be a valuable tool in building relationships with new commissioning bodies like Clinical Commissioning Groups and Police and Crime Commissioners.

We believe it is vital that information is gathered which can be used to assess the 'health' and effectiveness of local Compacts in the current policy landscape.

The survey also includes questions about the impact of government's policy changes on your organisation and your local partnership working.

The responses received allow us to gain a real insight into how organisations are engaging with new health structures, new commissioning bodies and how policies like the Social Value Act are impacting on the voluntary sector.

The survey can be accessed at

Every completed entry will be entered into the draw to win a £100 John Lewis voucher.

The survey is open until Friday 25th October. Your views are important so please do complete it - it should take 10-15 minutes to do so.

If you need further information or need help completing it, please contact us on 0207 520 2451 or
