Guide to Local Compacts Published

Compact Voice have published a new guide covering everything you need to know to enable your Compact to work effectively. Local Compacts: A User Guide is available as separate sections covering different areas of local Compact working, or as a single publication.

The sections are:

 - Section 1: About the Compact
 - Section 2: Compact groups, officers and champions
 - Section 3: Communicating the Compact to different partners
 - Section 4: Events and training
 - Section 5: Compact impact: Action planning, monitoring and evaluation
 - Section 6: Revising and renewing your Compact
 - Section 7: Addressing non-compliance

The guide also includes an Implementation Checklist and practical examples in each area from across the country.

The guide can be downloaded from our resources section, or if you would like a hard copy, please email compact@compactvoice.org.uk. Copies are free of charge (orders for multiple copies may incur a fee).
