Compact Advocacy wins longest running case

One of the Compact Advocacy Programme's longest running cases has been successfully resolved in early 2010.

A voluntary group in the West Midlands had its funding terminated without the appropriate period of notice as stipulated in the Compact.

However, after advocating for compensation, the Compact Advocacy Programme secured a payment of approximately £7000, meaning that staff will now receive previously unpaid salaries and holiday pay.
