Compact Voice exists to help you get the most out of the Compact. We:

• provide strategic leadership on the relationship between government and the Sector
• Share best practice across England on how to improve partnerships between public bodies and the sector
• provide information, resources and support to the sector

How we do it

Compact Voice offers practical help and guidance on how to get the Compact working for your organisation. We give voice to the sector's views on the Compact. We:

• provide a Compact Voice network and online forum for you to share experience and good practice
• talk at conferences and events across the country
• represent the sector at meetings with our government partners at local and national level

Why we do it

The Compact is having a really positive impact on the voluntary sector, but it could do more.

By offering practical help and guidance on how to get the Compact working for your organisation and giving voice to your views we aim to help the sector get the most out of the Compact.

Getting the Compact to work as well as it can is crucial to your organisation and the longer term health and vitality of the voluntary sector.

Who we are

Compact Voice has over 2,000 members from across the sector from community organisations to large national charities. Chaired by Simon Blake, the Compact Voice board contains both members of front line groups and umbrella bodies, which represents between them over 20,000 voluntary and community groups.
